And from December 6-15 I will be back in TX doing another tour there.
I have also just started recording the next record! It is tentatively called 'Resonator'. I will keep you posted and get some mp3s posted soon. I have done a few sessions in L.A. and Nashville and will be recording with my bands in Finland and in Texas on these next few tours. This next album will be even more of a 'recorded on the road' album than Night Owl and I am very excited about it.
Here are some great new Interviews/Performance videos from a Live-in-the-Studio session we did called the Blackwing Sessions. This is some of the highest quality stuff I have ever done. I hope you enjoy it. And this may become a Ted DVD. More news on this soon......
Thanks again, I appreciate you all caring about me and my music. Please come out to a show or be in touch at www.facebook.com/tedrussellkamp

New recording - Ted and Ted Help Support the Red Cross of Oklahoma
I recorded the classic song 'Tulsa Time' with an old friend of mine Ted Wulfers (www.tedwulfers.com). We are donating 100% of the proceeds to The Oklahoma Red Cross. Even though it's not in the news anymore, the people of OK could still use your help and are still dealing with a lot of chaos and tragedy. I have been through Oklahoma many times and have some great friends in the Oklahoma City area which was hit so hard by the tornadoes. Please check it out at http://www.tedandted.bandcamp.com/

In other news, I am now in the process of building a great home studio. I will post pictures of the construction soon and I am excited to get some music made right at home. I will be back in the studio finishing up a few records I will be producing in the next few months too. One is for the great L.A, singer and songwriter Funky Jenn Gibbons. I will also be working on a track for the great British singer/songwriter Graeme Clark and I will continue working on my next record too. Very exciting.

Here are some great new Interviews/Performance videos from a Live-in-the-Studio session we did called the Blackwing Sessions. This is some of the highest quality stuff I have ever done. I hope you enjoy it. And this may become a Ted DVD. More news on this soon......

Reviews for of Night Owl

"If country music was like old school wrestling, then Ted Russell Kamp would be one of the good guys." SavingCountryMusic.com

A train well worth boarding ... a well played, meaty record. - Chris Spector of The Midwest Record

Recommended listening ... Wistful, raspy vocals and engaging lyrics. - Robert K. Oermann at MusicRow.com

California desert country with the top down. With his gritty self styled voice, the Laurel Canyon mythos rings true throughout this Americana set. - Dan Harr of Music News Nashville

If only Nashville was pumping out country songs with this kind of understated pathos ... another fine set of melodic country rock tunes. Don’t let this heartfelt, soulful music pass you by.  Michael Toland of The Big Takeover.com

A terrific release, great music ... fine arrangements and atmospheric playing. The future should hold greater recognition for Ted Russell Kamp on the evidence (of these tracks). - Paul McGee of Lonesome Highway.com

Also, I just contributed a song to a great on-line only compilation called "Songs For Sandy Hook

100% of the proceeds got the Danbury Hospital in Connecticut to benefit local families who survived Hurricane Sandy.
