Europa! Europa!

Hello again, good people of the internet.
I am back overseas and I wanted to share a little of what's ben going on.

My tour started out with a LONG flight from LAX to Amsterdam, then a short one to Sweden.

I did my first show here in Gothenburg with some great promoters called Woody West. And I performed at a very cool rock club called Pustervisk, the same venue where I played with Shooter Jennings my first time in Sweden a few years back, so it was a homecoming of sorts. We also did a great in-store at an (almost) Vinyl only record store call Dirty Records. Almost 50 people came to the in-store and I almost spent as much as my plane ticket over on cool obscure bootlegs. (They are real music lovers over here and I got sucked right in).

Next onto Amal Sweden, where we played in a great club called the XO. It was a dreamy snowy Christmas Card kind of town. I had played here last year, and we had a great crowd, and got some good youtube footage, so I will let you know when that gets posted.

Then onto the town of Sunne, Sweden for a country music festival. This was my first Country Fest in Sweden. It was a wild one. They imported A LOT of Jim Beam to have authentic bourbon on hand. They served up 'American style chili' and hot dogs and beans, and it felt as much like a Wild West costume party as a music festival. I played well, and my band Little Green, did wonderfully. We did Swamp Water Whiskey and Down in Mexico - two of my songs I have never really done live. They both play up the romantic imagery of wildness in America (running moonshine, singing the blues, and getting in trouble in Juarez) so I thought a European audience would enjoy them - and they did.

And today I did an on the air interview on Swedish National Radio. Later I fly to Helsinki for my first shows in Finland which start tomorrow.

Then back to Sweden for some more shows here, and then Holland and Belgium.

Thanks again for supporting the cause.
Making music across the pond...
